To join our chapter, you must first be a member of the National AARP organization and have your dues current there. To join the National organization, just take your browser to www.aarp.org and look for the Join/Renew button. Once you are a member of National AARP, the easiest way to join our chapter is to come to a meeting and stop by the membership table. You should bring your National AARP card with you, as we will need to note your membership number and expiration date.
If you want to join our chapter by mail, simply print and fill out this form (just click here).
Mail the form to: Membership AARP 1917, PO Box 4193, Ocean City, MD 21843. Include a check for seven dollars (annual dues) per person, made out to: AARP Chapter 1917.
Also include a stamped self-addressed envelope so that we can mail you your chapter membership card (if you forget the latter, then we will hold your card for you at the Membership table at the meeting).
